Tom Buford, founder of Charge What You Deserve, has been a self-employed service professional for the past 14 years. Shortly after graduating college with a marketing degree he realized that corporate America wasn’t for him and he set out to create his own company. His first venture was writing and marketing “The Biz Book” which showed college students how to land a job with a music label. He made approximately $13.92 over 6 months.

Since then, he’s been a coach, consultant, author, and speaker, painting contractor, real estate developer, skydiver and musician. He built his first successful business as an automotive painting contractor when he was 27. Within 2 years he turned Paint Solutions, Inc into a 6-figure passive income business.

Tom tapped into his experiences as a business owner and created Charge What You Deserve where he shares marketing and fee-setting strategies with service professionals so that they can enjoy the businesses that they’ve been dreaming of. Using his techniques, Tom’s clients have been able to double their fees and attract more clients than ever before.
